2021 Wyoming Range 100: Runner update #1 (7/2/2021)

Runners –

Race day is quickly approaching, and we are pumped. We have a few key updates to share.

Runner Manual

We published the 2021 Runner Manual on our website. Please consider this a “one-stop” resource for runners, pacers and crew. (We highly encourage crews to review it!)

Garmins

We will provide “live” tracking on our website during the race using Garmin GPS devices. If you have your own Garmin GPS device — InReach Mini, InReach Explorer, etc. — please let us know in thisspreadsheet. We’ll add you to our tracking software — and give you a $50 rebate!

Bear Spray

Bear spray is required for runners and pacers. If you’re taking a plane to the start, keep in mind you cannot have bear spray on the plane. A local retailer will have bear spray for sale, at market price, at the start. If you’d like a can, please let us know in this spreadsheet.

Dinner on Thursday Night

The neighboring towns of Marbleton and Big Piney are hosting dinner for runners, pacers, crews, volunteers, families and friends on Thursday, August 19th at 5:00pm — the more, the merrier! Dinner will cost $10.00 per person and include a vegetarian option.

Please enter the number of dinners you’d like to purchase in this spreadsheet. Bring cash!

Pre-Race Zoom

We are hosting a non-mandatory pre-race Zoom call on Wednesday, July 28th at 6:00pm MT. The Q&A session will be open to runners, pacers, crew, family and friends — anyone with questions.  Stay tuned to your inbox for the invite. Feel free to forward it. We’ll record the session for folks who can't make it.

Volunteers!

You can never have too many. We have a handful of “general” volunteer positions still open. If you have family or friends that would like to lend a hand — typically, for an eight- to twelve-hour shift — we’d love to meet them! They can email us at hello@everlongendurance.com.

Feel free to reach out at any time.
