We do not organize a shuttle
We do not offer a shuttle from the finish to the start or vice versa. Given the distance and driving times, we’ve found a shuttle to be prohibitively expensive.
Solor runners should be able to get a ride from the finish to the start after check-in on Thursday
For 2026, we’re holding check-in on Thursday evening at the finish at Box Y Ranch. This should allow solo runners to leave their vehicle near the finish and catch a ride to the start.
Carpoolers will need to figure out sleeping/camping accommodations at the start.
Carpoolers cannot leave a vehicle at the finish before the race — but they drop a car near the finish on National Forest land
Carpoolers, like everyone affiliated with the race, cannot leave a car the Box Y before the race. The finishing area does not open until Saturday morning. You can, however, thoughtfully drop a vehicle near the finish on National Forest land, perhaps a mile away from the Box Y.

Please self-organize your carpools
As race day approaches, we’ll encourage runners on the carpooling list to self-organize. Stated bluntly, we will not get involved, so please grab the reins!
We simply ask that whomever drives from the finish to the start (and leaves their car) gets a ride back from one of their riders.
